This course sits on a sunny plateau in the mountains. Even though there are spectacular Alpine views all around, the site is actually only mildly undulated and it definitely qualifies as enjoyable and not overly taxing. The front 9 is slightly more interesting, because the terrain is more varied, while the back 9 has longer holes, most notably three par 5s.

For the most part it plays relatively straightforward, although it does have a few tricky challenges and enough of an entertainment factor to keep the player engaged. The great natural setting and a relatively free-flowing routing do their part, so the relatively rustic conditioning does not have much of a negative impact. The greens are fine for putting, the rest of the short game isn't exactly a revelation, but serviceable.

This is the definition of relaxing holiday golf: it provides a unique experience that cannot be found "at home", but also is not too hard to figure out on the first try. In this case we have the full Alpine package without strenuous walks that will also go easy on the player's ball supply.
