A resort course set in the beautiful Maremma landscape of southern Tuscany. The hotel units are set back nicely and there are no residential developments lining the fairways. It's good holiday golf: scenic, not too hard and not too flat, but always walkable.

The layout is quite varied as well, there is ample water on the course, but never downright penal in character. The mediterranean vegetation rarely comes into play and the bunkering is more artistic than challenging. But the greens aren't easy, many are huge with several sections and quite interesting to putt on.

At the end of the day, however, the course shines, because it is far away from the hustle and bustle of the Tuscan tourist hotspots. Culturally minded golfers are better off elsewhere, as are those seeking championship golf, but for pure relaxation this place is ideal.
