An American style design, flat, with many lakes, and large, mounded greens. But unlike other similar efforts it is not an artificial world unto itself. Rather it is integrated sensitively into the natural surroundings. The result is a parkland course, that is easy on the eye, but plays very technical. Most options are clearly spelled out and even golfers, who normally pay little attention to a course's architecture, will be made to think a bit here.

Due to the watery character of the terrain the fairways are not meant to provide ground game options, they are flat and maintained for a target golf scenario. As such it is quite good, but not more than that. The Bernhard Langer signature certainly provides "Tour feel" from the back tees, but it also leaves little room for surprises, quirks and all those charming features that make a place unique.
