A 36 hole golf resort of considerable ambivalence. On one hand it is a dreadful tourist enclave that has next to nothing in common with the land surrounding it. The two courses are completely artificial and, to add insult to injury, one of them is called Links. The gasoline-powered carts are a nuisance and the six tees on every hole a travesty. The general feel of the place is Disneyland - crowds included.

On the other hand there is the Forest course. It is also 100% contrived, but in some spots of such striking beauty that it actually is worthwile coming here just to see it.The golf itself is not bad, but the main attraction (or deterrent in the case of the Links) is the visuals. Also, zero natural features means great walkability.
