This is the fallback course for whenever Nessie, the 18 hole main course, is busy. In reality the holes are older and much different in style, owing to a different golf architect. Christoph Städler likes the expansive American look and actually succeeded in making this small site feel a bit larger. The second surprise is the pretty good variation in hole designs, there are hardly any repetetive shots to be played.

On the negative side the turf must be mentioned: it is very loamy and wet, which renders the course unplayable outside of the peak golf season. Drainage is much worse than on the adjacent Nessie course.

Except for one par 4 there are no holes that could be called long, but the aggressive "going for the green" option is rarely available. Doglegs, high trees, narrow lines of play and out of bounds areas do their part to canalise the action.
