This is a highly successful course due to its proximity to Munich, which leads to a lot of traffic - unfortunately way more than the soft and wet soil can handle. The property, a former gravel pit, is largely flat, but the architect managed to get a number of interesting holes out of the few undulations that are there. Both nines start with mostly long and uneventful holes, but once the average hitter gets through those, he is rewarded with a stretch, where he can really score. Those shorter holes also occupy the best terrain and so there is some motivation to keep going through the more drawn-out segments.

So this could be a fun course overall, but the lack of drainage coupled with the heavy soil and the high utilisation lead to questionable playing conditions. The approaches are soggy throughout, so there is little chance for any kind of ground game to develop. The narrowly spaced tee times don't help much either, but there's one area where this club excels: food. While not usually a factor in evaluating golf courses, here it has to be said that the creative and still affordable cuisine can make up for any grief suffered on the links. Which would probably be very little, if firm conditions could be achieved and the mowing lines were corrected to reward bold play.
